Heritage Funeral Services, East Kilbride, takes delivery of New Fleet.

John Donnelly and his staff at Heritage Funeral Services Ltd, East Kilbride, were proud to take delivery of their new fleet of two hearses and four limousines supplied by Paul and Iain of Wilcox Limousines.

The new Jaguar XJ based vehicles are yet another commitment to providing one of the most prestigious funeral fleets in Scotland. These vehicles replace the existing Jaguar fleet and are now alongside a 1954 Vintage Rolls Royce Cloud hearse and two Rolls Royce Phantom limousines.

John said, “Since Heritage Funeral Services started in 1999 we have always wanted to provide the best of vehicles to our families. I bought my first fleet of a hearse and two limousines from Paul at Wilcox and remember fondly when they rolled of the transporter.

Back then it was pre-owned Daimler DS420’s. I used to wash and polish them as if they were brand new. A few fleets later we are still loyal to Paul and the family at Wilcox. They provide, in my opinion, the best vehicles available and their service has always been superb.

The new XJ based vehicles are spectacular. They have a real presence on the road and families have made no end of complimentary comments about their style and comfort. I was a little anxious at changing over to the new Jaguar shape but I needn’t have worried as the new vehicles are quite simply stunning and exceed my expectations.

We have had a long-standing relationship with Wilcox for over 16 years now and I don’t see any reason why this would not continue in the future. Their service and attention to detail mirror what we offer as a family business and I have every respect for their professionalism and quality.

We have also just taken delivery of a new Mondeo hearsette from Iain Roe; the Northern representative of Wilcox and again the vehicle is as it should be “perfect”.
