Further Jaguars For R Banks & Son


Our photo shows Brian Halliwell (R) taking delivery of two further Jaguars for R Banks and Son.

Vehicles supplied by Wilcox Limousines Ltd.  Also in the photo is Gary Connor of Handelsbanken Finans.  Alongside the new cars is the truck owned by Brian’s Son, Martin, who carries out all the deliveries required by Wilcox Limousines.  Martin’s transport company (RBF Services) are able to deliver the vehicles fully under cover so that they arrive as pristine as when the left the factory.

R Banks & Son (Funerals) Ltd was founded in 1921.  Brian joined the business in 1974 and has continued to grow the business since then.  In 1982 a new funeral home and branch office was built in the centre of Pemberton, named ‘Halliwell House’.  The business now has 9 premises serving the families in the area.

An Independent Family Business, Brian’s wife, Jennifer, and daughter Carina, both play major roles in running the company.  The business is a member of a number of professional organisations including BIE, SAIF and NAFD.

Brian’s fleet is now all the latest model Jaguars.  These are two further Jaguars for R Banks and Son. He has 3 Jaguar hearses and 4 Jaguar limousines.  The cars come with a high specification including a huge deck area in the hearse, luxury leather interior, air suspension, satellite navigation, heated seats and Bluetooth®.
